State Representative Says Local Towns Don't Want Gas Tax

State Rep Will Crocker says the people of Barnstable and Yarmouth made it clear back in 2014 that they were against an increase in the gas tax and he says they are vocal in their opposition this year.

Crocker among 40 House lawmakers voting against a transportation bill which would increase the tax.

The Beacon Hill Institute estimates these proposed increases would result in the loss of 3,000 jobs and $93 million in business investment in just the first year.
