Another case of the Covid-19 virus has been detected in the Commonwealth.
State Public Health officials announced right before 10 last night that a “presumptive case” of the virus has been detected in a woman in her 20s from Norfolk County.
The woman, who had just returned to Italy is under medical care.
Meanwhile, Barnstable County Health officials have announced that they are seeking some 250 thousand dollars in emergency county funds to take care of the elderly population in the area because of the virus.
They do not say how the money will be specifically used.
