It appears that the program to renumber exits starting on Route Six is not going over to well.
The Chamber of Commerce has not taken a position on the controversial mandate but will take a poll of its members.
The idea is to renumber the exits according to the mileage within a state. New York has a similar exit system already on the books.
States must at least start the process or risk losing millions of dollars in federal funding.
