The Town of Barnstable is being sued by a retired attorney - alleging that the police department illegally seized his guns during a well being check in 2018, 82 year old Paul Gargano says that the department was also serving a no-trespass order on his son in an unrelated incident.
The suit contends there was no hearing or warrant.
The Police Chief is not commenting. No timetable for the suit.
