Nantucket Cottage Hospital is receiving a record donation from the hospital thrift shop.
The 500-thousand-dollar donation will be used to acquire new medical equipment, including a new MRI machine.
The Hospital Thrift Shop, which is in its 90th year of business, says it has donated more than five-point-seven-million dollars to the hospital since it was founded.
