In Chatham, selectmen have approved a measure that will create a free preschool program for four year olds.
That was one of the recommendations from a committee designed ways to keep people from leaving the town which historically has some of the costliest real estate on The Cape.
The committee also wants to see zoning bylaws changed to allow higher density projects.
