The Boys & Girls Club of Cape Cod has always been a safe place where children throughout the Cape could go to be inspired and to help realize their full potential.It is a place that strives to help our kids build character, as well as create opportunities to learn and grow.

A survey of kids that go to Boys & Girls Clubs across the state of Massachusetts are:
- 83% more likely to abstain from sex
- 98% more likely to abstain from cigarette smoking
- 93% more likely to abstain from drinking
- 94% more likely to abstain from prescription drugs
- 92% more likely to abstain from marijuana
- 88% more likely to abstain from vaping
So to talk more about these numbers, and the new before-school morning program they are starting in September, Kevin Matthews was joined by the executive director of the Boys & Girls Club of Cape Cod, Ruth Provost.
