Coast Guard Fines Teens For Ferry Jumping

The Coast Guard has levied 25-hundred dollar fines against two teenagers who jumped off of ferries.

Luke Garrity jumped off the Island Queen in Falmouth in June. Andrew Meyers did it in Block Island.

They could have been fined 35-thousand dollars.

Coast Guard Officials say not only is it dangerous to the jumper but also to the crews and anyone around them.

The teens could appeal. They have 45 days to figure that out.
