Officials of the MSPCA are still investigating an alleged case of animal mistreatment at The Smithfield Farm on Sandwich Road in Falmouth.
Officials confirming there is an investigation but are declining comment on what they have said so far.
In Massachusetts Animal Cruelty is a felony. Seven years in prison for each incident.
No word on when the investigation will conclude.
