No Issues In Overtime Work For Barnstable County Sheriff's Department

The State Auditor releasing audits including for the Barnstable Sheriff’s Department. Among the reviewed items were the overtime accounts and whether the number of hours were actually worked or not. 

The Auditor says that basically they were. The report concludes that there were just under 6.1-million dollars in overtime and that all of it was worked and justified. 

Auditor Suzanne Bump says there were no significant areas of concern as a result. The Sheriff hasn’t commented yet.
