There was a big meeting involving officials from Dennis and Yarmouth with State Education officials yesterday in Malden.
The two communities are trying to end the battle over the funding of a regional middle school project.
Yarmouth Selectboard member Tracy Post tells Newsradio 95 WXTK, they have now requested formal mediation as a possible next step. Otherwise there are no specifics to share.
Meeting members are expected to brief their own boards next week.
