In Sandwich, officials will consider what is being called a large scale solar project. Sites being considered are in forest land.
The proposal is coming from ASD Cotuit Solar Mass for an approximately 5.6 mega watt project.
Now there was going to be a hearing tonight before the planning board, but that is not going to happen because the Cape Cod Commission has to get the issue first.
We are expecting public hearings on that issue from the commission sometime before the middle of July.
