A 42-year-old Dennis Port woman is free on bail after pleading not guilty to charges that she was trafficking in fentanyl.
Police say Wendy Brooks was found asleep in a car with a child in a booster seat in the parking lot of a convenience store in Hyannis. The child is in the custody of the state.
Brooks will be in court for a pretrial conference the end of the month.
