A new state report says there is no community in the state that is keeping up with the demand for housing.
The report says many community have too many restrictions and much of the zoning process is “ad hoc” or “discretionary.”
So cumbersome are the zoning laws in the state that it is causing a slower and slower creation level, and the report concludes that multi family home growth is dismal across the state.
