Attorney General Says There May Be Issues With Pilgrim Shutdown

The State Attorney General is sounding the alarm that there could be issues with the closing of the Plymouth Nuclear Power Station.

Maura Healey says that there may not be enough money for the cleanup of the site and she is calling for hearings from the NRC.

Also, the AG says she has serious questions about the potential transfer of the license from Entergy to Holtec. Entergy says the decommissioning process will be done in 60 years.

Holtec says it'll be done in 9. The NRC says it is taking everything under consideration.
