Drinking Water Standards To Be Discussed At Hyannis Meeting Today

The State Department of Public Health says there will be a hearing today in Hyannis to hear public input on changes to drinking water standards.

The hearing is set for Hyannis Town Hall from 12:30 to 2:30 this afternoon.

A spokesman for the department says among other things, the changes will call for a lowering of P-FAS standards.

Officials say this will start a three month comment period for residents around the state.
