A 30 year old West Yarmouth man has been ordered to undergo a mental examination after being charged with killing one person with a machete and seriously injuring a woman on the Appalachian Trail in Virginia.
James Jordan is accused of the murder. Officials say that survivors identified Jordan as the attacker.
Jordan will be back in court in 45 days.
