Harwich Town Meeting begins tonight.
Among the 70 articles on the warrant one that would seek to transfer land from the Cemetery Commission to the Selectmen. The 2 acres of land at Queen Anne Road was set aside for a pet cemetery but only the selectmen can decide whether that is in the best interest of taxpayers.
The Finance Committee has recommended that the issue be tabled indefinitely.
