K9 Gets New Vest Honoring Slain Yarmouth Sgt Gannon

A Seabrook, NH police K-9 has new body armor donated in the memory of slain Yarmouth Police K9 Sgt. Sean Gannon.

K-9 Henry was given a bullet and stab protective vest from the non-profit organization Vested Interest in K9s, Inc. The vest is embroidered with the sentiment “In memory of Sgt. Sean Gannon, Yarmouth Police Department.”

Gannon was shot and killed last April while serving an arrest warrant at a Marstons Mills home. His partner, K9 Nero, was also shot, but survived his injuries.

K9 Henry is a 2 ½-year-old Belgian Malinois certified in both patrol and narcotics detection.
