A recent graduate of Cape Cod Regional Technical High School, injured in a car crash in Jamaica, is back in Massachusetts.
Joel Ricketts, 19, of Dennis Port returned to the Bay State thanks to the donations raised by family and friends on GoFundMe.
Ricketts arrived at Mass General on Wednesday and doctors were able to lower his fever and begin treating his brain injuries suffered in the crash. Ricketts mother says her son remains in a coma but is getting better each day.
Ricketts was injured on December 18.
