Two Nantucket Men Arraigned on Credit Card Fraud

Two Nantucket men facing charges related to a spending spree with a stolen credit card were arraigned in Nantucket District Court on Monday.

The Inquirer and Mirror reports the two, Brian Quimby, 37, and Timothy Tanana-Nye,26, of Square Rigger Road, had pleaded not guilty to the charges back on November 20th.

Quimby is charged with improper use of a credit card over $1,200, forgery of a document, receiving a stolen credit card, larceny over $1,200 by a single scheme, and conspiracy. Tanana-Nye  has been charged with credit card fraud over $1,200, larceny under $1,200 by a single scheme, and conspiracy.

Both will be back in court on February 19 for a pretrial hearing.

According to police documents, a couple reported their credit card stolen and used more than 150 times between September 18th and November 19th.
