State Secretary of Housing and Economic Development Jay Ash today will host a roundtable discussion with Cape Cod entrepreneurs in Yarmouth. Ash will announce a new grant aimed at growing small businesses and startups across the Cape region.
The Secretary will moderate a discussion featuring entrepreneurs who have benefitted from programs run by Cape Cod Young Professionals and will also hear from the Lowell-based Entrepreneurship for All (EforAll) on the expansion of their successful mentoring programs to the Cape region earlier this year. EforAll has received several state awards to support and pilot their unique entrepreneur mentoring programs in the Merrimack Valley, the South Coast, and in Western Massachusetts, where they are partnering with the organization SPARK Holyoke.
Joining Secretary Ash will be executives from the Innovation Institute at MassTech, a public economic development agency that promotes the innovation economy statewide. Following the roundtable, Secretary Ash and the entrepreneurs at the roundtable will be available for interviews.
