A handful of Cape Cod communities are in line for some of the $2.6 million campaign, Recycle Smart, an effort to teach consumers how to recycle properly.
Barnstable, which earlier this week announced changes to its recycling program, will be receiving $14,300. Harwich is receiving $12,100, Dennis $11,000, and Yarmouth $10,400.
A total of 250 municipalities will share in the $2.6 million.
