A Yarmouth Port man is facing an OUI Liquor and Negligent Operation charge after his arrest over the weekend.
A Yarmouth Police Officer observed a red Toyota SUV operating erratically on Route 28 in West Yarmouth just before 1:30 a.m. on Saturday morning. The vehicle was stopped and the operator, Ethan Bassett, 19, of Plymouth Road in Yarmouth Port, was found to be intoxicated and placed under arrest. He was booked and subsequently released on Personal Recognizance after paying the $40 bail fee.
Bassett faces arraignment today in Barnstable District Court.
