The GoFundMe page set up for Kevin Quinn and his family has surpassed $280,000.
Quinn, a combat veteran, was returning to his home in Mashpee early Saturday morning after visiting his wife and newborn daughter at Cape Cod Hospital when his SUV was struck head-on on Route 28 in Cotuit. Quinn was taken to South Shore Hospital where he died from his injuries.
The car that struck Quinn was being pursued by Mashpee Police for several motor vehicle violations. Both the driver and passenger of that car also died from injuries sustained in the crash, which remains under investigation.
