CCA Awards $440,000 in Scholarships to 297 Students

The Cape Cod Association (CCA) recently awarded more than $440,000 in scholarships to 297 students from Cape Cod, Martha’s Vineyard and Nantucket.

CCA President David W. Foster, Jr. said the scholarships help give the students the opportunity to pursue their dreams and achieve their goals.

The CCA, one of the oldest and largest independent scholarship funds in New England, is dedicated to helping students who were born and reside on Cape Cod or the Islands achieve success in higher education. It offers scholarships to graduating high school seniors and college students for up to four years of undergraduate studies at colleges and technical schools across the United States.

The Association is a supporting organization of The Cape Cod Foundation, which recently awarded more than $500,000 to 140 local students, bringing the total scholarships awarded from the two organizations to more than $940,000.
