The Nantucket Film Festival begins today with the showing of a pair of films.
The 23rd edition of the Festival kicks off with “Incredibles 2”, the box office record-smashing animated film from Pixar. “Incredibles 2” enjoyed a $180 million domestic opening last weekend with an estimated global take of $231 million, making it the biggest opening of all time for an animated film.
Tonight, “Boundaries,” starring Vera Farmiga and Christopher Plummer will grace the screen.
More than 100 feature-length and short films will be shown over the six day festival. You can get more information on the Nantucket Film Festival online at nantucketfilmfestival.org.
