State Representative Will Crocker has his first conference committee appointment since his 2016 election to represent the 2ND Barnstable district.
The Centerville Republican has been appointed to the Civics Education Bill conference committee, an act to promote and enhance civic engagement.
That committee will review the House and Senate versions of the legislation and put forth a compromise bill which will be sent to Governor Charlie Baker for his signature.
Crocker’s experience as a civics teacher played a role in his selection to the committee by House Minority Leader, Bradley Jones Jr.
