Dennis Firefighters were busy Tuesday morning battling a structure fire at Camper’s Haven, 184 Old Wharf Road, cottage 15C.
The department responded shortly after 5:15 a.m. and found a fully involved structure fire. Firefighters were able to extinguish the fire before it spread to other cottages in the densely populated area.
The cottage, determined to be a total loss, is owned by Claude and Barbara Lohnes of Holden, MA.
The fire remains under investigation but early indicators are it was caused by an electrical issue. There were no reported injuries.
