Motel Disturbance Leads to A&B Arrest in Yarmouth

Yarmouth Police, with assistance from Barnstable Police and State Police, arrested a Buzzards Bay man following a report of a disturbance at a local motel.

On Tuesday morning shortly after 10 o’clock, officers were dispatched to room 120 of the Econo Lodge at 59 Route 28 for a reported violent disturbance.

Arriving officers determined two people had argued over continued drug use which led to violence and damage to hotel property. Yarmouth officers also noticed items consistent with drug distribution on a bed in the room.

Officers arrested Frank Joseph Fagone, 34, of Buzzards Bay, charging him with Assault and Battery that allegedly occurred in the room during the argument. A pat frisk found a folding knife, cell phone, and large bundle of cash on Fagone who has 68 priors on his Massachusetts criminal record.

He was taken to Yarmouth PD Headquarters and booked and taken to Barnstable District Court for arraignment.
