Last Call Broadcast for Yarmouth K9 Sgt Sean Gannon

As is tradition, police broadcast the last call, Thursday, for slain Yarmouth K9 Sgt. Sean Gannon, killed in the line of duty on April 12.

The call transmitted almost exactly a week after Gannon was shot and killed serving an arrest warrant at a home in Marstons Mills.

Gannon's K9 partner, Nero, was shot twice in the incident and was released from the veterinary hospital on Wednesday, the same day Sgt. Gannon was laid to rest.

The last call says, in part, “Last radio call for J7, K-9 Sgt. Sean Gannon, badge No. 5992. You will be missed immensely and you will never be forgotten.”

“K-9 Sgt. Sean Gannon, end of watch April 12, 2018. May you rest in peace, sir. We have the watch from here.”
