The Cape Cod Chamber of Commerce, tomorrow, will host a J-1 Community Forum in Harwich.
The forum is designed to give a better understanding of the responsibilities of Summer Work Travel participants, employers, and sponsors. Job seekers can also meet employers who hire Summer Work Travel participants as well as hear from J-1 visa sponsors of the Summer Work Travel program.
The Summer Work Travel Program is a public diplomacy cultural exchange program with a work component. Participants are international university students on a J-1 visa who live and work in seasonal communities during their summer vacation.
The forum will be held at the Harwich Community Center on Oak Street in Harwich from 2:00 to 4:30pm.
