Falmouth Voters to Decide on Artificial Turf Field

Falmouth residents tonight will take up the topic of an artificial turf field for Falmouth High School.

At tonight’s Town Meeting, residents will be asked to okay the construction project, estimated to be $3.1 million, through a temporary tax increase.

Similar to what was recently approved by Barnstable voters for BHS, the project includes new bleachers, fencing, lighting, press box, and a concession stand with restrooms.

The Falmouth Town Meeting gets underway at 7 p.m. in the Lawrence School auditorium at 113 Lakeview Ave. There are 48 articles on the warrant.
