Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution Senior Scientist, Mark Kurz, will be the speaker this Friday at the Marine Biological Laboratory Falmouth Forum.
Kurz’s lecture is entitled, “Antarctica: Glacial History and the Future of Sea Level.” Kurz has visited Antarctica nine times, seven times as a scientist studying the glacial history of the Transantarctic Mountains.
The lecture will be in the MBL’s Lillie Auditorium, 7 MBL Street, Woods Hole on Friday night at 7:30. The free lecture series is presented by the MBL Associates and offered as a cultural connection between the Marine Biological Laboratory and the Cape Cod community.
