Barnstable County’s real estate figures for February show significant increases from a year ago.
Register of Deeds, John Meade says the volume of real estate sales last month was up 11.5% from February 2017 volume and the total value of sales was up 18.5% from the previous year.
Meade says the median individual property sale value was up 8.5% from last February’s value. The median sale price of property in Barnstable County in February 2018 was $363,500 compared to $335,000 in February 2017.
There was a 6.8% decrease in the volume of mortgage activity from February 2017 levels.
