The Cape Cod Regional Transit Authority is adding additional holiday service.
The CCRTA, Monday, announcing the addition of permanent fixed route service on Presidents’ Day and Patriots’ Day.
CCRTA Administrator, Tom Cahir, says many of their customers do not have the luxury of a day off during those two holidays. As a result, they are either forced to pay for higher cost taxi rides or forego a day’s pay.
Cahir says the Fixed Routes will operate on a Saturday schedule on Presidents’ Day, February 19, and Patriots’ Day, April 16.
