First responders in Brewster saved the life of a young woman Sunday night.
Brewster Fire and Police were alerted to a missing female student from the Latham School around 6:45 Sunday night.
A couple of school officials had followed the girl to the beach in an attempt to stop her from going into the water but were unsuccessful.
Brewster Fire and Rescue arrived on the scene and launched a Zodiac. The girl was found after about five minutes of searching. She, along with the staff members, were taken to Cape Cod Hospital to be treated for hypothermia.
