The Family Pantry of Cape Cod has received a donation of more than $21,000.
The money comes from the Allen Harbor Yacht Club’s “Summer Thanks for Giving” charity event held on July 15, 2017. The event included a silent and live auction, a wine raffle, and a general raffle consisting of more than 88 items.
Family Pantry executive director Christine Menard says the donation will make it possible for the Pantry to provide more than 84,000 meals to those in need across Cape Cod.
The Allen Harbor Yacht Club has long been a supporter of the Family Pantry, hosting the winter “Thanks for Gving” charity event since 1989.
