The Steamship Authority has announced that its high-speed ferry M/V Iyanough returns to service on Tuesday, July 18, 2017, beginning with the 8:15 departure from Hyannis to Nantucket.
The SSA reports that repairs to the ferry have been completed at the Fairhaven Shipyard where the Iyanough was taken following its crashing into the Hyannis breakwater last month. The ferry has undergone several test runs including successful sea trials today.
The U.S. Coast Guard has inspected the vessel and deemed it seaworthy. The high-speed ferry’s schedule can be found on the Steamship Authority website.
