After 57 years in public service, both at the federal and municipal levels, Barnstable Municipal Airport manager Bud Breault has announced his retirement.
Breault told WXTK News that 30 of his working years were spent in the United States coast guard where he retired as a captain:
Breault served as Truro’s Town Administrator for more than 8 years before moving to Barnstable to become the assistant director of the Department of Public Works.
He has been the airport manager for the past 8 years.
