Falmouth is one step closer to a new Senior Center. At Town Meeting Wednesday night, a proposed $9.5 million facility slated for property between the Falmouth Police headquarters and the Gus Canty Community Center received the required two-thirds majority vote.
However, the project still needs voter approval at the ballot box on May 16.
If approved, the new senior center would replace the current structure on Dillingham Avenue that has been used since 1977.
