That is nine cents below the national average for unleaded regular. At this time last year, Bay Staters were paying 46 cents less at $1.73.Triple-A found a range of price for unleaded regular of 32 cents, from a low of $2.07 to a high of $2.39.Self-serve mid-grade unleaded was averaging $2.45 with a low of $2.29 to a high of $2.59 while Self-serve premium unleaded averaged $2.60 with a low of $2.45 and a high of $2.69.Diesel fuel was averaging $2.56 a gallon with a low of $2.45 and a high of $2.69.
