Monica Rizzio is a prominent figure in the New England music scene, celebrated for her award-winning songwriting. She creates original alt-country music inspired by her Texas upbringing and her experiences in Nashville. Now based on the shores of Cape Cod, Rizzio is a versatile musician who tours across the country with her band and plays fiddle for folk legend Tom Rush. She also owns Washashore Music in Orleans, a private instructional studio that offers music lessons.
