Bail Revoked In Hyannis Police Standoff Case

Bail has been revoked in the case of a Hyannis man accused of holding his mother at knife point.

Justin Moreira was arrested after the March 6th incident, which included an hours-long standoff with police.

The 50-thousand dollars' bail revocation came from a May 2022 incident, in which the 30-year-old Moreira was charged with threatening a school shooting.

In the most recent case, Moreira faces counts that include kidnapping, armed assault, witness intimidation, and weapons violations.

He has pleaded not guilty and is due in court next on April 4th.
