Wind Power Now On Regional Grid

Offshore wind power is now being provided to the regional grid continually.

Vineyard Wind is sending continuous power via five of its 62 planned turbines.

This group, known as Vineyard Wind One, is generating 68 megawatts of power, with a capacity to serve an estimated 30 thousand customers.

The farm will eventually provide power for more than 400 thousand.
