The state Attorney General's Office has filed a civil complaint against the owners of the Pilgrim Nuclear Power Station.
AG Andrea Campbell filed the action against Holtec Decommissioning International for violations related to improper storage, handling, and disposal of debris that contained asbestos.
Three separate incidents between January 2021 and last September are detailed in the complaint-Campbell's office is seeking penalties of 25-thousand-dollars per day for each violation.
