Big Time Growth Reported At CCCC

Cape Cod Community College is experiencing continued growth in enrollment.

Figures show an increase of nearly 30 percent in students served for the spring semester, which began last month.

This follows an uptick of 15 percent in the previous fall term.

The current enrollment stands at 27-hundred-52 students.

School president John Cox says the relaunch of MassReconnect has made community college free and accessible, along with expanded financial aid.

The school also saw higher re-admissions of students who took time off, and distance learning students outnumbered in-person learners by nearly two to one.
