Broadband Advocate To Speak Locally

The impact of Falmouth's efforts to build a fiber-optic network for internet access will be discussed with the arrival of a top advocate next week.

Gigi Sohn, Executive Director of the American Association of Public Broadband will speak before Falmouth's Select Board on next Monday, February 12th.

Sohn will also speak at the Cape Cod Technology Council's meeting on the 13th and speak at a broadband forum at the Falmouth Historical Society that evening.

Falmouth's project seeks to join a group of around 450 local networks operating in the US.
