The lone landfill on Cape Cod is set to undergo a planned expansion, which is said to be the largest of its kind in Massachusetts history.
The 115-acre site in Bourne will see new administrative offices and a garage area added to current recycling operations, along with more space for disposal.
Officials are awaiting the results of a feasibility study and cost estimates, which will go before the public at the May town meeting.
