Beaches Take Brunt Of Latest Storm

The beaches of Martha's Vineyard which face to the south are expected to take the brunt of Winter Storm Finn and receive further damage atop recent weather events.

Southeast winds, predicted to gust as high as 65 miles per hour will shift to the southwest this morning.

Moderate coastal flooding is expected along Edgartown, while Chilmark will face seas of 15 feet, diminishing to 13 as Wednesday progresses.

These conditions have prompted residents to stay away from the south shore due to potential erosion.

Norton Point is expected to be closed today, and perhaps through the weekend.
